Compounding frequency ‑ Interest will be compounded monthly.

Crediting frequency ‑ Interest will be credited into this account monthly.

Average daily balance computation method ‑ Interest is calculated by the average daily balance method, which applies a periodic rate to the average daily balance in the account for the period. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the balance in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. The period we use to make this calculation is monthly.

Accrual of interest on noncash deposits ‑ Interest will begin to accrue on the business day you deposit noncash items (for example, checks) into your account.

Minimum balance to avoid a fee ‑ If your balance falls below $200.00 on any day in the month, your account will be subject to a $3.00 service charge fee for that month. (Minor and Senior Citizen accounts are waived).

Deposit limitations ‑ You may make unlimited deposits into your account.

Limitations on frequency of transfers ‑ Transfers from a regular savings account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfer are limited to six per month with no transfers by check, draft, debit card or similar order to third parties.

Fees and Charges ‑ The following fees and charges apply to this account:

Excess withdrawal fee: An excess withdrawal fee of $2.00 will be charged if you are in excess of the transaction limitations listed above.

Dormant Account Fees - If you have made no deposits or withdrawals to the account for three years, a $5.00 per month dormant fee will be assessed.

Minimum balance to open ‑ The minimum balance required to open this account is $250.00.

Deposit limitations ‑ You may make unlimited deposits into your account.

Withdrawal limitations ‑ If you are 59.5 or older, you may arrange to have periodic transfers from this account to your checking or savings account. Transfers are limited to one per month. No more than one in‑person withdrawal is permitted each month.

Fees and Charges ‑ The following fees and charges apply to this account:

Transfer fee: A transfer fee of $25.00 will be charged if the account is transferred to another financial institution.


CITIZENS PLUS SAVINGS

Rate information ‑ At our discretion, we may change the interest rates for this account.

 

Tier 1 ‑ If your average daily balance is less than or equal to $9,999.99, an interest rate will be paid on the entire balance in your account with an annual percentage yield (APY). Please call for current rates

Tier 2 ‑ If your average daily balance is $10,000.00 or more, but less than or equal to $49,999.99, an interest rate will be paid on the entire balance in your account with an annual percentage yield (APY). Please call for current rates.

Tier 3 ‑ If your average daily balance is $50,000.00 or more, but less than or equal to $99,999.99, an interest rate will be paid on the entire balance in your account with an annual percentage yield (APY). Please call for current rates.

Tier 4 ‑ If your average daily balance is $100,000.00 or more, an interest rate will be paid on the entire balance in your account with an annual percentage yield (APY). Please call for current rates.
